About the centre

A shared home for dog therapy and grooming in Elgin

Moray Pet Therapy Centre is one building at 29 Bridge Street, Bishopmill, shared by seven practitioners who look after your pet's wellbeing. Hydrotherapy, veterinary physiotherapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, Canine Hanna Somatics and grooming all happen under the same roof.

Each practitioner runs their own business and takes their own bookings, but what they share is the building and a way of working: calm, unhurried and a love for your pets.

Because the practitioners work side by side, it is easy for your pet's care to join up when more than one approach would help.

Volunteers and work experience. Volunteers are welcome at the centre, and students are welcome for work experience. Call us to ask.

Testimonials

What pet owners say

Kenny M

Motus Veterinary Physiotherapy

“Cara is really nice to deal with always very helpful & knowledgable about the issue & dog loves her & the treats!”

Alison M

Acupet Vet

“Knowledgeable and caring. The difference in my wee cat, Nico has been amazing since she has been having regular acupuncture. The fact she will curl up and go to sleep during the sessions demonstrates how relaxed she is whilst being treated and testiment to Dominique's skills as a clinician. Highly recommended”

Suzie M

Animal Rehab with Joy

“Cannot sing Joy’s praises high enough. Luna our Labrador, has been having physio with Joy for years, we wouldn’t use anyone else. Luna loves her sessions… sometimes they’ve been weekly, sometimes fortnightly, now she sees Luna monthly and she is doing amazing. Without Joy, Luna’s quality of life would have been very very different.”

Chyna R

Scruffy to Fluffy

“Up until finding Scruffy to Fluffy, my grumpy soap dodger Louie had never had a groomer actually be able to finish his groom. He comes home from here looking and smelling fantastic, running around like a puppy again. Cannot recommend enough”

Nikola D

Pawsitive Pet Care

“Emma didn’t just do a groom, she tailored everything to Diglett’s individual needs, temperament, and comfort level. She took the time to understand him, respected his boundaries, and handled him with such calm confidence that it instantly put me at ease. That level of awareness and empathy is rare. We’ll be back without hesitation.”

Neil L

Moray Canine Hydrotherapy

“Absolutely excellent service, my slightly athritic dog has shown great improvement in movement, fitness and stamina after only 4 hydrotherapy sessions. I'll keep it going as part of her regular exercise routine.”

Colette S

Canine Hanna Somatics

“Our vet recommended Canine Hanna Somatics and, for my dog, it really has been the final piece of the puzzle. It complements all the other therapies we do beautifully. I find the focus on the connection between the brain, nervous system and movement absolutely fascinating. It’s such a gentle approach, yet we’ve found it incredibly powerful. So pleased we discovered it.”
